Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Omeni, LLC (“Omeni,” “we,” “us”) operates omeni.la, members.omeni.la and the Omeni app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions about anything here can go to hello@omeni.la.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us when you apply for or hold a membership, including your name, email address and phone number.
  • Records of conversations about membership and about member safety, including conversations with you, with members, and with people outside our community.
  • What you share in the community, including your profile, posts, replies, photos, reactions and messages.
  • A device token, if you turn on app notifications.
  • Payment information, which is processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Basic technical information about your device, browser and app.

How we use information

  • To review and respond to membership applications.
  • To verify your identity and your referrals.
  • To communicate with you about your membership and our community.
  • To show what you share to other members.
  • To maintain the culture and safety of our community.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our sites and our community.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

Text messages (SMS)

Claiming your account uses a code texted to the number on your record, and signing in uses a texted code too unless you sign in with a passkey. These security codes are part of how membership works.

With your consent we also text onboarding details and logistics for events you have signed up for. Consenting to these messages is not a condition of membership or of any purchase. We do not send marketing text messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for assistance. Replying STOP stops texts from that number, including sign-in codes. Reply START to receive them again, or sign in with a passkey if you have added one.

We do not sell or share your mobile number

No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers

We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf, only as needed to run our service: hosting and data storage, email and text message delivery, payments, image storage and delivery, app notification delivery, sign-in bot checks, error and performance monitoring, and call scheduling. Each is bound to protect your information at least as well as this policy does, and none may use it for their own marketing.

AI processing

We send your information to a third-party AI model only with your explicit permission, and you can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing hello@omeni.la.

Other disclosures

We may disclose information when the law requires it, when it is necessary to protect the safety of our members or the public, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business. Because of the nature of our community, we treat membership information as confidential and do not publish or confirm member identities.

Your choices

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@omeni.la.

Our sites do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Our analytics are cookieless, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about your activity across other websites through our sites.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app or on omeni.la, under You → Security. A person on the Omeni team completes the deletion within 30 days and emails you when it is done.

Deletion removes your account, your profile and everything you posted or sent. We keep only what safety, the law or preventing misuse requires, such as payment records, records of flags, reports and moderation decisions, the contact details that keep a removed member from rejoining, and a one-way record that your free trial was used.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as we need it to run the community and to meet our legal obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continued use of our sites after a change means you accept the updated policy.
